‘Camouflage With Škoda’ Design Contest Winners Announced

Škoda Auto India has announced Shreyas Karambelkar from Badlapur, Maharashtra, as the winner of the Camouflage design contest.

The design contest received more than 200 entries. Karambelkar’s winning design is a mix of of Indian motifs - the Peacock and Lotus, Czech glass art and Cubism.

Ben Stewart from Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, was announced the runner-up for his design inspired by the simplicity of basic regular shapes, themed over the contrasting Škoda colour palette.

The winner of the contest will travel to Prague to meet Oliver Stefani, Head of Design, Škoda Auto. The winning design will be applied on the testing prototype of the upcoming Škoda Slavia midsize premium sedan, under the India 2.0 project.

His design reflected a homogenous blend of Indian and Czech art cultures. We want to congratulate the runners-up for putting up a healthy competition, and the designs submitted kept the jury contemplating for a long time.
