Construction Work Starts at TATNEFT’s Kazakhstan Plant

TATNEFT has started construction work at its tyre manufacturing plant - KamaTyresKZ - in Kazakhstan.

The company said construction work of the foundation, pile driving, and the hull is going on simultaneously as per the work schedule. The plant is expected to commence production by the end of 2022 and generate over a thousand jobs.

KamaTyresKZ, situated at Saran city of Karaganda region, is a joint project of TATNEFT and the Allur Group of Companies. 

The plant will churn out three million passenger and light truck tyres and 500 thousand commercial vehicles tyres per year. 

The KamaTyresKZ plant will cater to the primary assembly of cars and trucks manufactured in Kazakhstan, the secondary market, and exports to neighbouring countries.

TATNEFT Construction Projects Department is implementing the turnkey project.
