Indian Rubber Institute conducts nation level crash course and short term courses

Dr D Banerjee Centre of Excellence (DBCoE), Mysuru of Indian Rubber Institute conducted a National Level Crash Course: 2020, which was attended by the registered students of DIRI & PGD-IRI Course of all India.

The course held between June 28, and September 13, 2000, covered topics on rubber science and technology virtually. Total 144 students participated in the course, out of which 67 from IRI- Rajasthan, 36 from IRI- Karnataka, 22 from IRI- Chennai, 13 from IRI- Mumbai and 6 from IRI- Delhi.

Two Short Term Courses (STC) were also conducted by Indian Rubber Institute.

Between September 3 and 5 ,2000, the first short term course was conducted on rubber materials and compounding technology, and the second course was on rubber components for automotive industry took place between October 8 and  10, 2020, virtually. The rubber materials and compounding technology short course was attended by 42 participants, out of which 24 were from tyre companies and the test from non-tyre companies. 36 candidates, out of which 18 were from tyre companies, attended the second course on rubber components for automotive industry.

We thank Syed Mushtaq, who played pivotal role as host and T N Ramesh who supported him as coordinator of this course.  We convey our sincere thanks to all the faculties who have delivered LECTURE CLASSES & also for their valuable time and energy without taking any remuneration for conducting this course successfully. We also thank all the students for their active participation,” said S Vasudeva Rao, Secretary-GC, IRI.
