Nupur Recyclers Forays Into EV Sector

Nupur Recyclers has forayed into the EV sector by setting up 200 EV charging points and several battery swapping stations in association with EVI Technologies.

The company has begun installation in Dwarka and will soon expand its reach to other parts of Delhi NCR. It will also increase its reach to other metro cities by the end of FY2021-22.

The battery swapping stations will cater to electric two- and three-wheelers and the charging facilities will serve electric four-wheelers. The facilities could be accessed by all players who adopt the connector standard, 2000 AC/DC charging stations (a mix of 3 Socket, 1 Socket, Type2).

Rajesh Gupta, Founder, Nupur Recyclers, said, “At Nupur Recyclers our vision has been to help conserve natural resources and protect natural ecosystems. Our expansion into the EV sector is a further step ahead in this direction as EVs can contribute significantly to the preservation and enhancement of the quality of life and the environment. We see heightened interest from consumers as well as strong policy support from both central and state governments to push the adoption of electric vehicles across the country. With these two initiatives, we aim to fast-track this transition and enable the entire ecosystem with reliable and trusted charging infrastructure. For us, this is just the beginning as we embark on a journey to encourage environmental sustainability through a variety of initiatives.” (MT)
