Recording total revenue from operations (net) for the April to June 2021 second quarter at INR 12,329 million, up 180.9 percent as compared to the total revenue from operations (net) for the corresponding second quarter of last fiscal, Schaeffler India Limited (Schaeffler India) is confident of a considerable recovery in its automotive and industrial business. Announcing an 86.5 percent uptake in total revenue from operations (net) for the first six months (January to June 2021) of calendar year 2021 at INR 25,497 million compared to the total revenue from operations (net) in the first half of the previous calendar year, Schaeffler India has come to observe recovery in its automotive aftermarket and industrial business divisions. Affected due to the Covid-19-led disruption – which resulted in a slump in automobile production – in 2020, the company has continued to deepen its customer focus and widen the market reach.
