Skoda Reveals The Interiors Of The New Fabia

Just days after releasing the exterior design sketches, Skoda has now given us a tease of the interiors of the fourth generation Fabia.

The official design sketch released by Skoda reveals the space liberated by adapting Volkswagen Group’s MQB-A0 platform and the use of fresh colours for the interiors. Technologies in use on high vehicle classes have also been incorporated into Fabia’s interiors.

The symmetrically designed instrument panel houses the free-standing infotainment display at the centre and the large round AC vents on either end. The coloured decorative trim that runs the width of the dash along with the coloured elements in the centre console and door handles creates new accents and adds an enhanced sense of spaciousness to the cabin. The character line beneath the display mirrors the SKODA grille.

One can also visualise the customisable Virtual Cockpit, a key feature on the higher-class Skoda vehicles to make its way into Fabia’s cabin. Skoda has set the world premiere event of the fourth generation, Fabia, for the beginning of March, where it will share more details about the car. (MT)
