Synthos SA To Set Up Butadiene Extraction Unit In Poland

Synthos SA has collaborated with Air Liquide Engineering and Construction for the construction of a new butadiene extraction unit in Plock, Poland.

The butadiene extraction technology is licensed and engineered by Air Liquide Engineering and Construction and is based on the BASF NMP butadiene extraction technology. The extraction unit is expected to have a butadiene capacity of 120,000 tonnes per year.

Chemical producer Synthos SA is one of the key players in the global synthetic rubber market. The company produces and sells chemical products used as raw materials and intermediate products in a wide range of industries such as the tyre, construction and packaging industries. (TT)
