With the Tesla’s of the world and a big number of automotive start-ups in the field of alternate fuel and automation technologies working on future automotive products and platforms, TCS is doing a stellar job of helping them open up new possibilities. It is working with big automotive players like General Motors (GM) that has announced plans to become carbon neutral in its global products and operations by 2040. GM has committed to set up science-based targets to achieve carbon neutrality. Collaborating with no less than 15 automotive technology start-ups, according to an industry source, the company has attained a good pace in the area of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Autonomous Vehicles (AVs). It announced a new partnership in future global vehicle engineering in 2019 as an extension of a 16-year long relationship between the two (TCS and GM). Specialising in global IT services, consulting and business solutions, TCS is known to work with Stoneridge, Velodyne and Luminar Tech among others.
