Tarsus to focus on industry needs and event content

Tarsus, the global B2B media group, last year acquired the TyreXpo series of events from Singapore-based organiser SingEx. Being the organiser of many tyre industry events, Tarsus will focus on the industry's needs, key industry players, event content and work with all other related stakeholders of the sector to deliver 'thought-leading content' for the exhibitors and buyers. "TyreXpo is well respected within the market and we could see plenty of scope to further develop the Singapore show in particular, especially through increased focus on our customers’ customers and bringing key international buyers to the show," Douglas Emslie, CEO, Tarsus Group, told Tyre Trends. Tarsus also plans to host buyer programme to attract the top 150 tyre buyers from across the globe for the show. In the interview, Emslie also spoke about the challenges in organsing the expos amid slowdown and the outlook of the global tyre industry
